Hope prevails. See that is the beautiful thing about the human race, hope always prevails in us. This is what makes us stand out. Our belief that things will turn out for the best for us, that there will come a time when we will not be this miserable or lonely, where we will find love and happiness.
It really is a beautiful sentiment. When all else fails, hope is what our puny little hearts cling to. You can discover awfully lot about a person by just asking them what they hope for in life.
The one thing I always pray for (when I do pray) is that I always find the courage in myself to fight for my dreams and for what I believe in no matter how tough the going gets. I hope that even when things are going horribly wrong and there is not a drop of hope left in me, I hope that watching someone else make it might give me the strength to go after what I want, with the naive hope that maybe, just maybe, I too might make it one day.
